Anyone who has lived in Edinburgh for any period of time, will likely have heard the term ‘Edinburger’ used as a friendly, jokey term to describe someone who lives in Scotland’s capital.
I’ve made an illustration incorporating Edinburgh Castle, Arthur’s Seat and The Forth Rail Bridge all in a burger to bring this term to life.
You can have your own Edinburger in the form of a 65×65mm magnet. Created from my original artwork by Local Edinburgh printers, Doricmor. They start by digitally printing the image onto 170gsm paper which they then laminate to make the picture bright and glossy and protect the surface. This print is then die cut to size and shape then formed around a metal shell. Onto this, they attach an extra-strong 1.5mm thick magnet which combines to give a durable, hard-wearing magnet.
